Join us on 6 June as we celebrate the UK’s ratification of the UNESCO Convention on Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage.  Prof Robin Coningham explores what this means for protecting the crafts, practices and traditions of the City and County of Durham.

Robin is the UNESCO Chair on Archaeological Ethics and Practice in Cultural Heritage in the Department of Archaeology, University of Durham.  The lecture is hosted by the City of Durham Trust and follows their AGM.  All welcome!
