News: World Heritage Day at Durham Castle - 18 April

This year we are celebrating World Heritage Day with The People’s Story at Durham Castle.  Experience the Norman Chapel, the oldest building in Durham city and see the Medieval wall painting revealed during recent renovations.  Travel back in time to meet Norman soldiers from Vanguard Re-enactment and enjoy talks, walks and presentations from local history and heritage societies, youth ambassadors and guest speakers.  Fun for all the family.
