News: Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre Wins RCIS Award

Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre has won this year's Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Award for best Tourism and Leisure Project in the North East of England. The World Heritage Site's recently completed project to decentralise the district heating scheme received the 'highly commended' accolade in the Infrastructure category, and both the Visitor Centre and the refurbishment of Durham Castle were shortlisted for the Conservation award.
