The events shown are taking place on or around Durham World Heritage Site. If you are organising an event, please tell us about it.

Action Art

Join us to celebrate creativity with an afternoon of imaginative arts and crafts with artist / maker Marian Hernandez.

Drop in anytime (between 1 and 4pm) pay £5 and create your own piece of amazing art. You can choose from a range of materials including stamps and inks, origami earrings, or a clay teabowl.

Tell us what creativity means to you and contribute your own personal message to our Action Art wall.

Artworks and cards created by the Oriental Museum’s Creative Age group will also be available to purchase.

All money raised will help support Creative Age, an art group which supports the wellbeing of people living with dementia in Durham.

Suitable for all. No booking required.

  • Drop in (any time between 1 and 4 pm).
  • Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
