MEMSA Outreach is running a public seminar on December 13th at 6:30pm in the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre.  MEMSA is Durham University's Medieval and Early Modern Student Association, and this year we are expanding our outreach programme to include a series of public lectures, this seminar is the first in our Research Processes series, Manuscripts and Archives.

If you’ve ever wondered how postgraduate students do their research or what goes in to completing a PhD, this public seminar series is for you.

In this seminar we hear from students who use manuscripts and archival material to undertake their research, from sifting through Durham’s own manuscript collection to uncovering archived texts in Paris.  The session will be informal, with short talks from each student and then time for a discussion and questions from the audience at the end.

The seminar is free to attend, to secure your seat please email imrs.memsa@durham.ac.uk.
