News: Our World Heritage Site website has had a major overhaul!

Dear All,

I am really pleased to announce that the Durham World Heritage Site website has had a major overhaul. With many thanks for funding, support and hard work to Durham University (who were instrumental in the development of our first website), our neighbours in the Visitor Centre the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Hiltonian Media for their technical support and colleagues across our stakeholders. Special thanks also go to Rachel Barclay for her expertise in developing the new layout for the website. You will still find much of our original content in there (and a big thank you to my predecessor, Seif el Rashidi for creating our first website, which has stood the test of time), but navigation has been updated and brought more closely in line with Durham University's online styles as our host. Links to all the WHS partners have been brought to the top of the site to help visitors navigate their way to the most up to date information about the WHS and all its activities.

All the best

Jane Gibson
